The joy of giving starts with God Himself. All we have and all we are is a gift -- pure, unmerited gift -- given by God. Life and time, talents and abilities, family, relationships, emotions, health, material goods -- all are given freely to us byGod, who loves us and trusts us to be good stewards of his abundance. (from Joyful Generosity) Practical ways tolive stewardship
Christian stewardship isn't something you do; it's the way you live your entire life. It is quite literally a call to renew the faceof the earth. As Father Andrew Kemberling of St. Thomas More parish in Centennial, Colorado, puts it, stewardship is "agift from God for the conversion of a materialistic world."
The word "stewardship"refers to the Catholic approach to the gifts that God has rather than self-centered. Profoundgratitude, justice andlove become the fundamental motives for giving back to God. Everything that serve the divine plan. Therefore, our life is to be lived in gratitude toward God. In a variety of ways, we as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, share our time, talent and treasure tobuild up the Church and make our world a better place.
This is a wonderful option for everyone! Although remembering the Parish in yourwill does not provide St. Brigid with moniesnow, it helps to guarantee the future of yourParish. Your bequest, trust or special endowment will be an enduringlegacy tohelp ensure the future of your Parish andthe Catholic community.

Your gift is a concrete way to express gratitude to God for a lifetime of blessings. The gift you give also establishes a lasting legacy of love for others by enabling the Church to continue the preservation and expansion of our Catholic heritage through its many ministries. There are many ways to give a gift and many types of Church ministry that could be assisted at the parish, school, or Archdiocesan level. Depending on your situation, there are different ways to structure your gift so that you can receive regular income during your lifetime, save on taxes, or both. We recognize that many people want to help others and want to express their gratitude to God through a legacy gift, but simply do not know how to do it. We would like to make it easy for you to make a lasting gift and receive the benefits of doing so. The Catholic Community Foundation stands ready to speak with you about the types of ministry that you could support by establishing your own legacy and about the types of giving options available to you.
